Более высокая доходность и препятствия для акций делают 2023 год годом облигаций

2023 will be the year of the corporate bond boom.

Wall Street experts remarked that the possibility that 2023 will see a corporate bond boom is increased by the fact that equities were hammered considerably more severely globally than corporate bonds last year.

Despite a recovery towards the close of the year, the value of corporate debt declined by $2.6 trillion, or roughly 17%, globally in 2022. Following a similar decline, the year for blue-chip corporate debt was the worst ever.

Corporate bond debt looks more attractive than stocks.

Bond prices are poised for a comeback in part because debt appears more alluring than stocks.

Due to the 2022 slump, investors can purchase bonds at significant discounts compared to last year’s price; the typical low-risk corporate bond price is currently at 90 cents on the dollar.

This does not, however, eliminate all dangers or guarantee that the US Federal Reserve will indicate the end of interest rate hikes and the end of inflation. Further increases might start or exacerbate a recession, which could result in the default of heavily indebted corporations.
