Emirates has announced plans to expand the usage of Metaverse airlines and introduce new flight types (NFTs) in order to boost revenue and improve customer experience.
A non-fungible token, or NFT, is a one-of-a-kind item, usually digital art that is recorded on a blockchain. As a fundraising and awareness-raising tool, they are attracting increasing interest from groups outside of the bitcoin business.

The airline intends to turn its pavilion at the Dubai Expo into an innovation center focusing on future initiatives such as Metaverse, NFT, and Web3.
