Акции растут, валюты смешаны в осторожной торговле

Most of the region was closed.

Equities were marginally higher on Monday, but currencies in Asia were mixed due to cautious trading and less liquidity due to several markets being closed for the holidays.

While markets in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia were closed, core equities in mainland China, Japan, and South Korea increased by less than 1%.

The little volume is evident in the currency markets.

Market tendency has been modest, and worries over China’s capacity to deal with the rollback of COVID Zero have partially countered the beneficial impact of recent U.S. inflation statistics.

“Until a recession occurs, the Fed has committed to tightening financial conditions.” According to Stephen Innes, managing partner of SPI Asset Management, “this is not the ideal location to hold speculative assets, especially long-term ones, which suggests that in these times cash is the best place to put money.”

The majority of the G-10 currencies were closely ranged against the US dollar.
